She lived life to the fullest and would want the following to be known about her. More than anything else she loved her Lord Jesus Christ first. He was the mainstay in her life at the end. Secondly, she was a military wife for 18 years until Tech Sgt Harvey Driggers retirement. Thirdly, she was the mother of 3 children that she leaves behind; Melodie Driggers, Jonty Dempsey and John Driggers. Fourthly, She was a Mother-in-law to Robert Dempsey and Janet Driggers, Fifthly, she was “Nanny” to 4 grandchildren; Anthony(Amanda), Tori, Aubrey(Dani), Jennifer and 7 great great grandchildren; Abbey, Ashton, Shea, Liam, Jacklyn, Danielle and Iris.
Additionally, she was a published author of the book entitled “But that’s Another Story”.
She was a fierce fighter for what she believed and at the same time compassionate to those who needed her help.
The greatest legacy she leaves behind can be found in her children and grand/great grandchildren, and that is, the love of music, reading a good book, seeing a good movie, humor or just sitting down and having a decent conversation.
Lastly, Mary Lou would say this to you. If you choose to remember me with tears and sadness, please don’t remember me at all. but if you choose to remember me with smiles and laughter remember me often.
