

“Precious in the eyes of Jehovah is the death of his loyal ones.” (Psalm 116:15)
A faithful servant of Jehovah God for 69 years; along with her husband Marvin, they were ministers and have assisted several families in becoming fellow Jehovah’s Witnesses; they led their lives in obedience in following the command:
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” (Matthew 28:19, 20)
Mary was a loving, devoted wife to Marvin Vann for 72 years; a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Mary was known for her love of Jehovah, her family, gardening, her kindness and unending hospitality and generosity. Mary loved to play the piano and was considered a professional painter at home.

Mary and Marvin, along with several hundred others, were baptized on June 6, 1946 in Lake Eerie, Cleveland, OH during the Glad Nations Assembly.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Marvin Vann, their six children, four sons, Ronald Vann (married to Rose), David Vann (married to Jan), Terry Vann (married to Laureen), Preston Vann (married to Sarah); and two daughters, Joy Vann and Melissa McCray (married to Joey).
Mary is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Tim Vann, Damon Vann, Tiffany Vann-Bohon, Heather Vann, Michelle Wright, Daniel Vann, Jeremy Vann, Nathan Trimboli, Alyssa Ashley Young, Madison McCray and Dalton Vann along with 21 great-grandchildren.
The viewing was held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Gotha, FL. A private, family funeral was held Thursday, June 18, 2015.
