Matilda Til Mae Otterbacher

OTTERBACHER, MATILDA (TIL) MAE, 78, of Apopka, FL went home to her Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Born Matilda Fry in Cleveland, OH on May 19, 1933. She married her one and only true love, Dale Otterbacher, who proceeded her in death. She was a strong and independent Air Force wife, who raised four strong, independent children. She was always involved as a majorette, singing in school, building a church in Alaska, cub scout leader for her sons, candy striper in the hospital, Mrs. Santa on a local TV show, bowling league secretary, singing at the NCO club, creating a 'Sister's Group' at church, singing in the choir, and a Sunday school teacher. Her biggest joy was decorating for Christmas-Christ's Birthday. Til is survived by her four children, Dale Otterbacher, Jr., Bruce Otterbacher, Candy Nadeau and Ron Otterbacher; her 10 grandchildren, Travis, Brock, Joshua, Jennifer, Brandy, Nicci, Bobbie, Stephanie, Danny, and Allie; her seven great-grandchildren,

Rhonen, Reese, Noah, Kristen, Elizabeth, Noel, Adrianna; and her best friend Annie Hughley.

The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734, with a prior visitation beginning at 9:00 am. The interment will follow immediately at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
