Willoughby, Michael David, age 59 of Orlando, went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2012, after a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma. He was born on January 5, 1953 in Orlando. Mike was the son of the late Willie Lee Willoughby and surviving mother, Gladys Willoughby. He is survived by his loving wife, Taresa Shreiner Willoughby; sons, John Michael Willoughby (Heather), Sammy Robinson (April); daughter, Stacy Ann Houghton (Sam), and Todd Karl Robinson, sister Judy Willoughby Turner (Harold). He felt so blessed to have eight grandchildren: Sara, Silas, Nina, Ayden, Samuel, Ava, Benjamin and Libby. Mike began his Bobcat business in 1978 in Orlando, and was very dedicated to his work. His passions were his grandchildren, golfing, cycling, cooking on his smoker for family, friends, and neighbors, and movie night with his wife Taresa. He was involved in volunteer work for churches, families with disabled children, and Habitat for Humanity through St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, where he has been a member for 24 years. The family would like to thank M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Hospice for their loving care during Mike’s battle with cancer. They would also like to request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
