Murdel Surjue-Gray

Murdel Surjue-Gray was born in Trinityville, St Thomas, Jamaica, on February 1, 1928 to Vida Flowers and Charron Surjue. She moved to the United States in 1969 and initially took up residence with her family in Jersey City, New Jersey. She later moved to Maitland, Florida in 1992 and remained a resident of Florida up until her passing, December 1, 2012. Here husband Alfonso Augustus Gray passed February 28, 2004.

Murdel is survived by: four sisters, nine children, twenty-two grandchildren, eighteen great grand children, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Four Sisters: Dolcie Hewitt (Burchell) and Valda Curney (James), resides in the USA, Verna Cole (Newton), resides in Canada, and Cynthia resides in the UK.

Three Sons: Mapel Pinnock, David Gray (Wanda), and Barrington Gardner:

Six Daughters: Jeanette Jones- Janas,(Reinhold), Anna Morrison (Everald), Margaret Gray, Sandra Gray, (Nigel), Sharon Gray-Lys (Ognol ), Ruth Marcano (Marlon).

Twenty-two Grandchildren: Maple Pinnock Jr., Paulette Lewis, Tracey Jones, Lee-Ann Jones, Richard Pinnock, Lowell Pinnock (Kimberly), Noel Pinnock (Tiffany), Dietreich,Pinnock (Amy), Derrell Pinnock (Dyonna), Anna-Kay Morrison, Yitzhak Morrison (Jahaya), Rachel Morrison, Joseph Morrison, Dominick Gray; Nichole Gray-Ibrahim (Sayam), Jean-Marc, Philip-Rousseau, Andre Philip-Rousseau, Danielle Gardner-Watson (David), Ruthann Gardner, Jonathan Gardner, Ronald Doran Jr., Marla Marcano
