

Noemi Lopez Rivera, age 92, of Orlando, Florida went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on October 7, 1933, to her mother Emilia Vazquez Lopez and father Francisco Lopez Cuadra.
She was raised by her cousin Juanita Lopez Vazquez and her cousin’s husband Carmelo Burgos. They ensured that she received an education. Noemi graduated from Fournier Business College in 1954. She went on to work as a secretary for the government of Puerto Rico (Corporación de Renovación Urbana y Vivienda).
Noemi met her husband Julio Rivera Santana who was a draftsman at the Corporación de Renovación Urbana y Vivienda. They married and had two children. Afterwards, they moved to Orlando, Florida where Noemi took multiple roles with the Orange County School System before finally retiring in 1996.
Noemi loved the Lord and was a long-time member of the Primera Iglesia Baustista de Orlando. She loved to sing in the choir, work in the nursery and teach children in Sunday school. She also served alongside her husband who was a deacon.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, her son Julio Enrique and his wife Milagros, her daughter Nayra Noemi and her husband Roy; her 4 grandchildren Kayra (her husband Tim),
Ian, Nadia and Diego; as well as her half-sisters, Lydia, Iris, and Ortencia.
She joins her parents, her older sisters Genoveva and Emilia, her younger brother Felix and her half-brothers Roberto and Joaquin.
Noemi was loved dearly by her family and will be deeply missed.

Service is from 10:30am – 11:30am
Entombment is from 11:30am to 12pm
