

Norma Yeager Miller, 90 of Maitland passed away early Tuesday morning, July 19th. She was born in Ft. Worth, TX in 1921, grew up in Dallas, and then moved to Sanford during the war to work at the Naval Air Station. Following the war, she met a handsome young Marine, Wilber Miller and married soon thereafter. They were married for 57 years. Her greatest pleasures in life were being a wonderful mother, providing a loving home and enjoying the company of her many friends and neighbors. After her children were grown, she worked for Florida National Bank in Orlando for many years. She is survived by her brother Earl Yeager, of Dallas, Texas; two children, Carol Miller Dorsey of Winter Park and David Michael Miller of Cornelius, N.C., her four grandchildren, Amy McKibben, David Miller, Katie Phillips, Jon Dorsey, and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 23rd at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A celebration of Life luncheon is scheduled from 1:00-3:00 PM Sunday, June 24 at the Lake Maitland Terrace Clubhouse, 1140 S. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751.
