Norman Douglas Chill was born on September 10, 1947, and raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania. In 1969, he married the love of his life, Maryanne Bshero, and together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and unwavering devotion. In 1981, they moved to Florida, where they lovingly raised their four children.
Norman was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Also, Norman worked many years in the food industry and was known for his strong work ethic, humility, and steady, gentle presence. Generous and deeply loving, he was a giving, caring, and humble husband, father, and “Papa” who always placed the needs of others above his own. His compassion and kindness touched everyone who knew him.
Family was Norman’s greatest joy. In addition to being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he was also a cherished father in law, uncle, and brother, roles he filled with warmth, patience, and grace.
He is survived by his wife, Maryanne Bshero Chill, his children, Marylou Mulligan, Tiffany LaPointe, Jeffery Chill, and Christina Head, as well as his beloved grandchildren — granddaughters Hailey and Hannah Head, Chloe Mulligan, and Katie LaPointe, and grandsons Jacob Chill and Cameron LaPointe — along with his two great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Cooper Chill.
Norman passed peacefully on February 3, 2026. He is deeply missed and will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
