

Oswald was a high school teacher in Barbados until he relocated to New York. He worked at NYU in the area of radiology until he retired and relocated to Florida. Oswald obtained his Masters degree from New York University and his PhD from Long Island University in New York. He was passionate about making a difference in the lives of all he encountered.
He enjoyed singing and participated in many choral groups. He was an active member of St. Edmunds Men’s Club, where he was the chairperson for many years. He loved to travel, and took many cruise trips with his beautiful wife in his lifetime.
Oswald is survived by his wife Lorna Jones. His two sisters: Hazel Sweeney of Liverpool England, and Vireena Daley (Eisen Daley) of Ft. Lauderdale Florida. His sister Una Jones is deceased. He is survived by his nieces Deidre Murphy and husband of Barbados, Sandra Greenidge and husband of New York.
Nieces: Velice Ryan and husband of Canada and Barbados, Angela Boyce and husband, Celeste Coles of the UK, Denise Sweeney of the UK.
Nephews: Peter Greenidge and wife of Barbados, Keith Greenidge (Deceased).
God children: Rebecca Freeman of NY, Mitzi Ambrose/Morgan of NY, and Angela Yearwood of NY and numerous cousins.

The viewing will be held at 10a.m. Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Windermere Seventh Day Adventist church followed by the funeral service at 12 noon.
Committal service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park following the service.
