

Raymond Vincent Kenzik (88) of Ormond Beach passed away on February 1, 2011. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, FL. Born in Dayton, Ohio Feb 21, 1922 to William V and Catherine Kenzik, he moved with his young family to Orlando, FL in 1958. Ray was a US Army Veteran serving in the Signal Corps as a motion picture specialist. He was an avid sports fan and athlete throughout his life. He continued to watch all sporting events with the wonderful staff at Ormond in the Pines. His favorite teams were the Orlando Magic, Notre Dame, and any team his grandchildren played on. He is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Bernandine Kenzik. Survivors include one daughter Karen Reeves (John) Ormond Beach; and two sons: Ray Kenzik DDS (Mary Lou) Ormond Beach; Mark Kenzik (Missy) Hendersonville, NC as well as four grandchildren: Megan, Eric, Kelly & Luke; and two Great Grandchildren Mia and Grant. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Prince of Peace Church, Alive in Christ Campaign, 600 S Nova Rd, Ormond Beach. 32174.
