We were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing today when we attended Aunt Larrie's service.  We think of you, Michael, and Nancy often and we just wanted you to know how sorry we are to hear of Dick's passing.

MM is such a terrible thing to go through. My grandmother was caught up to heaven this past weekend of the same thing. She was also 73. Many prayers are being sent to your family during this difficult time.

Pat I was saddened to hear that Dick passed away and my heart goes out to you and your family.  You and Dick were always so nice to Scott and I and I will miss having my sweetheart Scott and your sweetheart Dick at our cancer group meetings in the future.  Although it is very sad for those of us that are left behind here on the earth as we deal with our lose, I pray that you can take solace and comfort as my family has, in knowing and that our sweethearts are no longer having to suffer and that we can be with them again in the hereafter.  Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you.

Dick Wells has passed away, But his soul and spirits will be always remembered. A good soul, good heart  person will be always remembered. We cannot forget the community spirit and spirit he had to communication with family and friends are remarkable. Pat and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Dick was a gentle, kind man and I can tell very loving. I truly feel your pain. I still have very sad moments of Monica Chill's passing from this dreadful disease. Remember he would want you to live life at it's fullest and to be happy, yes it will be difficult to do. Love.

Dick was such a special gentle man.  We will fondly remember him and his special smile.  Gerry & I feel blessed for having known him.  He will be in our daily prayers.  I am sure you have beautiful memories.  Much love to you.

  Dick was sincerely dedicated to his friends and always willing to step in to lead when needed , even throughout the time he was battling cancer .  He will always be fondly remembered by all of us whether you are a veterans club member , a Celebrator or another local acquaintance .  Even though the battle with cancer was taxing , Dick always had a smile and a laugh when he greeted you and his passing came way too suddenly . 
   Our thoughts and prayers are with you , Pat and your family, in sorrow and remembering Dick , who warmed our hearts .

We did not get to know you well during the short time we knew each other, but Pam and I always found Dick to be a real gentleman and a pleasure to be around. Pat,
This  tribute to my oldest firiend Dick, is difficult to write but at the same time rather easy.  It is difficult because of the tremendous sadnes and sense of loss Sheila and I feel with his passing.  It becomes much easier; however, when we think and remember Dick's wonderful sense of loyalty and concern for others that he so wonderfully illustrated to all those fortunate enough to know him.
Dick and I have shared a friendship that goes back over 55 years, and I can truly say that of the friends I have had, Dick was the foremost most loyal, compassionate and caring friend anyone would be lucky to have.  When I stop to remember all the times we shared in our earlier years and the countless laughs we shared over so many things, it makes it much more comforting.
We cannot express to you in adequate enough words how much of an inspiration he has been to us in his dealing with the illness which eventually took him  from us.  We know that someday we will all be together again and Dick will be waiting for us (after he gets things organized and planned out, as he always, did of course)
Of all the things which Dick meant to me, the greatest thing I can remember is that he was first and foremost my friend-a friend who I will miss but always remember with a friendship I will always cherish.
In closing, I wish to say to Dick:  Goodbye-my friend.  (for now)
