It's hard to believe Rob has been gone 2 years. I still miss talking to him as much as ever. Rob, you'll never be forgotten. Rest easy, my friend, and God bless Clare.

Rob was a very dedicated Christian person.  He and I would spend many hours at the church making the property better.  He was instrumental in building out the new playground for the children.  Without his farm tractor we would have spent many days digging holes and planting pipes.  I moved from Geneva to Nevada in 2006 and I still miss the town and my friend Rob very much.  I'll see you later buddy....

We can only remember fun times with Rob at bowling always.. He would always come there and made sure he would say hello to everyone. 
He always had a friendly smile and had funny things to say. He made sure he would stop by my husband with a special smile and greeting. Everyone liked Rob and everyone had nothing but good things to say about him and Clair. He will be missed. I know there is a special place for him in heaven. We are so so sorry to hear of his passing.

Rob and I worked for Orlando Fire Department for 25 years, but we bonded and became great friends over our dogs. Like me, Rob loved all dogs, especially the two Shelties, Shep and Shane that he and Clare had early on. When my two small beloved dogs passed I was heartbroken. Rob and Clare had recently bought a third Sheltie named Sammy. When they saw how heartbroken I was they went back to the same breeder and got me a Sheltie, Jordan. I loved that dog to the moon and back and he helped me heal. That was the 1st time we had full litter mates. When Sammy and Jordan died within a short time span of each other I had driven to Stuart, Fl and got another Sheltie, Spencer. Shortly after, Rob and Clare wanted another Sheltie so Clare and I drove back to Stuart where she acquired Grace, another full litter mate of my Spencer. Rob and I spent a lot of time talking about our pups antics and comparing how similar their personalities were. It was obvious they were littermates. I will forever be thankful to both Rob and Clare for their generosity and compassion. Over the years I also learned what a caring, compassionate man Rob was when he talked about some of the calls he responded to at OFD. He also could make me laugh when things weren't going well for me. Over the decades we remained close friends and after I left Orlando and returned for visits we always made time to get together for breakfast and catch up with each other. My heart breaks for Clare that she lost Rob under such difficult circumstances. Rob, I will miss our talks and laughter, but will look forward to seeing you on the other side. Rest in peace, my friend.

One Friday morning, when our main road was closed due to an accident, Rob & Clare, along with help from my brother-in-law, guided us to another main road.  We had quite a convoy (5-6 vehicles?)  “Over the pasture land and through the woods” we were able to make it to bowling in time!
Another morning, my husband, Chuck, received a call from Rob.  He had gotten his tractor stuck and busted a hose on it.  Of course, Chuck went to help, along with our son, Chucky.  My husband has a habit of calling our 48 year old son “Precious” jokingly.  When Rob heard Chuck call Chucky that, he thought it was the funniest thing ever! 
So, just a couple good memories we have.
Rob will be missed as our neighbor and in our Circle of Bowling Friends  🎳

I worked with Rob at station 2 on Orlando fire department. He was a pleasure to work with. He was a fun guy to be around. I was a lieutenant and Rob was assigned to drive for me.  I noticed that Rob was not conformed with OFD uniform.  I said Rob you need to put on black shoes.  Rob said Lou... All I have is these brown shoes.  I said call Clare and have her bring you black shoes. He left and came back shortly with black shoes. He had sprayed painted his brown shoes black. Funny funny guy. Rest easy Rob I will meet you at the heavenly banquet.🛐

Rob was one who always had a smile on his face.  He would light up the bowling alley with his  kindness and cheerfulness.  He will be truly missed.  God has taken one of His best to be with Him.
