Ronald LeRoy Renwick

Ronald LeRoy Renwick, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the comfort of his home with family. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois. Ron was born September 29, 1930, in Chicago, IL, to LeRoy Renwick and Nelle (Lutz) Wright. Ron married Lois Lyons on November 17, 1951, in Chicago, IL. Ron is survived by his six children. Debra (Deb) Boettcher, Steven (Steve) Renwick, Margaret (Peggy) Heimsoth, Patricia (Patti) LeBlanc, Barbara Jennings, Robert (Rob) Renwick. Ron was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Also, sister Ruth (Renwick) Wilkinson and brother Tom Wright.

Ron served in the US Coast Guard 1948-1951. He earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rollins College. Ron had a career which included both engineering and finance. He retired from Martin Marietta (Lockheed Martin) in 1993 after a 34-year career.

Ron and Lois were active members of St John Vianney since 1961.

Ron was an active member of Whirl & Twirl Square and Round Dance Club. He spent 47 years roller dancing alongside some of his and Lois' dearest friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you make a donation to a charitable organization of your choice.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Ron touched are invited to the funeral.

Funeral Mass will be conducted on Tuesday. January 30 at 1pm at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6200 S Orange Blossom Trl., Orlando, FL 32809. Burial will follow at 4pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734
