Ruth Anderson Stella

Ruth A. Stella, 80, of Orlando, Florida passed away on June 30, 2017. She was born on December 21, 1936 in Chancellor, Alabama to the late Philip Anderson and Ruth Chancellor. Ruth, also lovingly known as Gloria, was a member of Park Lake Presbyterian Church and a Sunday school teacher at the church. In her earlier years she worked for Orange County Public Schools as a librarian. Ruth will be remembered as a peaceful, colorful, strong, sweet, and all around good person. She always had a smile on her face and was always there to help anyone she could, especially the children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Ruth was preceded in death by: her parents, Philip and Ruth; loving husband, Victor; step son, Daniel; brothers, Delano and Henry; and sisters, Jennie and Alice. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Stella and Victor Scott Stella; stepsons, Robert Anthony Stella and Victor Jr. Stella; stepdaughter, Frances Robinson; great niece, Rachel Lisicki and caregiver and friend, Ana C. Baez.

A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida on July 20, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Park Lake Presbyterian Church on July 21, 2017 at 11:00am.
