Ruth Ann Washburn entered heaven on Feb 3, 2013. A lifelong Floridian born in Ocala, Florida was adored by all and cherished by her loving husband, Eugene Washburn: three sons, Randy, Russell and Alan; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A business woman insurance agent and owner of the Commonwealth Insurance agency Winter Park, Florida and Vernon L. Henry Insurance Agency Apopka, Florida achieved high standing and recognition among her peers becoming the first female president of Central Florida chapter Big I (Independent Insurance Agents Assoc. It is with saddened hearts that we must let go but can take comfort in knowing she has ascended into the kingdom of God and now sits at the footsteps of his thrown. The soft touch and gentle nature of this beautiful woman will be long remembered and long missed. Our loss is truly heaven's gain.
