Sandra was a Girl Scout troop leader for each of her four daughters and a Den Mother for her son. Sandra loved to hike and take her girl scouts and boy scouts on camping trips. She also loved making crafts and being silly. When one of her kids was sick she would make them chicken soup and make their stuffed animals dance and sing to cheer them up. Each stuffed animal had its own voice and dance style.
She would make her grandchildren pancakes covered in chocolate chips and whipped cream, served with an ice cold lemonade poured into a sugar rimmed glass. She spoiled her grandchildren. She loved to take them to Walt Disney World.
She gave gifts without reason, and she interrupted with confidence. Her large presence in any room was contradictory to her stature. She found humor in everything. She knew how to love, and she made sure you felt her love. She raised her children to be strong and independent. She loved with her whole heart.
She was born on September 11th, 1945, to Dorothy and Lawrence Phillips, in Herkimer, New York. She married her husband, Eduardo Conrado, on November 15th, 1963, at the age of 18.
She will be remembered by her four siblings, Robert Phillips, Lawrence Phillips, William Phillips, and Susan Faulkner; her five children, Christine Staskiewicz (John), Charlene Moskowitz (Shalom), Sandy Farley (Terry) Edwardo Conrado (Tammy) and Monica Cramer (Daniel) her husband of 58 years, Eduardo Conrado; and her thirteen grandchildren, Kevin Sica and Tori Sica Olden (Connor), Raquela, Yael, Miles, and Ari Moskowitz, Noah Patrowski, and Rhue Farley, Logan and Gabbie Conrado, Conner (AJ) and Maya Hannin; and her beloved dog, Lucy. She will be loved with all of our hearts. We love you Baby nana.
Condolences may be offered in the online guest book.
