

She was born August 10, 1936 in Charleston, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Mirl and Elsie (Goins) Lore. She worked at the State Capitol, and became a hair stylist while living in West Virginia. She was most proud of being a mother and house wife for most of her life. She attended South Charleston High School and Davis Creek Church of the Nazarene where she met the love of her life Robert L. Hudson, whom she married in Charleston in 1956. They lived in Germany, while Bob served in the military, Charleston, West Virginia and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1980 where she decorated the custom homes that Bob and their two sons built for the next three plus decades as Hudson Construction Inc.
Shirley and Bob were active with Work and Witness efforts of the Church of the Nazarene and other organizations. After moving to Florida, she became an active member of the Central Church of the Nazarene (now Center Pointe). She was involved over 20 World Wide Mission Trips in many countries.
She is preceded in death by a sister Bonnie Lore.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Hudson Jr. and Todd Hudson, and four grandchildren, Robert Hudson III, Crystal Hudson, Dakota Hudson, and Tiffany Hudson.

A service will be held on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734. Arrangements entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
