Sirikant Persaud Tewari

Sirikant Persaud Tewari, 94, passed away peacefully on September 15th, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Sirikant was born on June 3rd, 1928 in Nabaclis, Guyana to late Mahadia Tewari and late Rampersaud Maraj Tewari. Sirkant was a loving husband for 74 years to Parbati Tewari. He was a father to his seven children Dharma, Deodat, Suresh, Nauth, Savitree, Mohan and Devo and father in law to Ruby, Nalin, Golin, Ruby, Deo, Padmanie and Kamla. He was a grandfather to his 14 grandchildren Sunil, Carlita, Steve, Natasha, Roy, Vanessa, Nandita, Mark, Samantha, Anil, Armit, Avinash, Vyasa and Vashanti and all of his grandchildren’s significant others. Lastly, he was an amazing great grandfather to his 22 great- grandchildren.

Sirikant married the love of his life on July 3rd, 1949 and they emigrated to the USA on Feburary 2nd, 1986. They lived 15 years in New York and moved to North Carolina in July of 2001. Sirikant made Florida his forever home after moving in 2010 to Winter Garden, FL. Sirikant will forever be in our hearts.

A visitation for Sirikant will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Gotha, Florida 34734. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Florida 34734.
