My love and memories run deep for Steve.  He was not only one of my dad's (Jerry Ivey) closest and dearest friends, he was someone that was special to me also.  Growing up there weren't many outings, parties, boat trips and much more that didn't involve Steve and Tammy.  They both were there for many milestones in my life; birthdays, graduation (as seen in the attached picture), vacations, and my wedding to name a few.  I know that Steve loved and supported me just like a parent loves and supports their own children.  He gave me advice, made me laugh, and would always be there if I needed him.  I was lucky to have him as a part of my life and I will miss him dearly.  I do have to take a moment to thank Steve and Tammy for saving me from burning my parent's house down with my one and only FRY DADDY!!  They took an almost tragic kitchen situation and brought laughter to my cooking faux pas.  Tammy, you will forever be in my heart and prayers.  Even though my Steve and Tammy times are now just memories, I look forward to making Tammy memories with you.  May God bless you and your family in this time of loss and may He also bring you comfort in the days ahead.  I love you!

I have know Steve for over sixty years.  He wasn't just a friend, he was like a brother.  We grew up together, worked together and vacationed together.  We enjoyed our good times, understood our challenges and always remained friends.  Tammy, all of our great memories will be cherished.

Uncle Steve loved life and loved everyone in his life. He always had stories, jokes, and even serious questions that led to advise. He was someone who would always want to see everyone succeed and be the best version of themselves. Althouth he isn't actually our uncle we got the pleasure of being apart of his family, and thought of him as an uncle, simply by being friends with Tonya and  Tony. We will cherish the memories we had with him and forever carry him in our hearts. 

I met Steve when he married my younger sister Tammy, Our family could not have picked anyone more perfect for her.  He was a wonderful husband to her. He was a great brother in law to me and Uncle to my daughter's Tina and Lori . 
 
I will always think of Steve when I make chocolate chip cookies. He tried to convince me that I made the best cookies, I told him that the recipe was on the back of a bag of Nestle Tollhouse. I know mine were no better than anyone else's but Steve insisted they were and I'm pretty sure its because he knew I would bake them for him, which worked because I did. 

Once a week Steve, Tammy and I liked to go to a few thrift stores. Steve would always buy us lunch on those days, usually at Golden Corral. He loved their fried chicken legs and would get upset when they didn't have any. LoL. I miss those days.

I have lots of other great memories from when they lived on the lake, all the BBQ's, boating and fishing.

So many precious memories we have shared with Steve over the 48 years that I have known him. The weekends spent at the old house on the lake hanging out and Steve taking all the kids out on the boat and teaching them to water ski. The boat trip the Todd, Ivey and Kraft families took up the river in Steve's brand new pontoon boat to Silver Springs one weekend and our overnight stay at the fish camp. The time Steve and Tammy took Terry and I to the Keys to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary--we had such a great time. I can still see the excitement on Steve's face when he rescued his dad's GTO from the back of Carolyn's property and had it restored. He was so proud of that car. He was always smiling and he never knew a stranger. But, what was most important to Steve was the love he had for his family, friends and the love of his life as well as his very best friend, Tammy. I've never had a grandfather and Uncle Steve was the closest thing to one. He's always been there for me from the army store trips to going four wheeling to telling me his army story's. He made a big impact on my life that know one would know. He made a big impact on everyone's lives if you looked lonely he would come up and make you feel apart if the family. He had no boundaries when it came to friends he would talk to anyone and everyone. I'm gonna miss the army trips and taking the four wheeler riding I love you and i'm gonna miss you.

Uncle Steve was so much more than just “an uncle”. He played an important role in my life by showing me what it was like to have a grandfather. He constantly pushed me to reach for the stars and I don’t think I’d be the person I am today if it wasn’t for him. He always tried to convince me to join the military so I could follow in his footsteps. He was a great man and I can never thank him or Aunt Tammy enough for all they’ve done for me over the years. You will be missed dearly. 

I have always called you Uncle, but you have always been so much more than that. You've always been there through everything. You've helped shape me into the person that I am today. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish forever including our never ending list of projects. From the small conversations we would have over the leftovers you drove all the way over for. The camping trip where we froze, the 10 mile hike to see a waterfall, even the Uncle Steve version of the birds and the bees. I never knew what it was like to not have a father because you stepped up and became that when dad died. You made sure that just because my children didn't have a grandfather didn't mean they couldn't know what having one felt like because you became that also. I could never tell you or Aunt Tammy how thankful I am that God blessed us with y'all. I love y'all so very much. - Buggley

Uncle Steve was such a great man. He impacted my life in more ways then he could ever know. He encouraged me to better my life and strive for something great. He knew what I was capable of even when I couldn't see it yet. I know we didn't have the same blood but in my heart we did and I know he felt the same way. I will truly miss him and have a void in my heart because he truly was one of the greatest men and mentors that I have ever known. Rest in Peace Uncle Steve. I love you. 

Memories of my Uncle Steve, there is so many. He was more than just my Uncle he was like my second father. He was always there. I remember always going camping, fishing, Jeep riding, boat riding, 4 wheeler riding. He always had some jokes. And he was famous for his White Russians! Theres nobody could make them like Uncle Steve!! And he always wanted u to smell his cologne and boy did he smell good!! I could keep on going forever with memories that’s how many I have. They are never ending! I love you more Uncle Steve!! 

I don't know if you can say enough about a man who has never met a stranger. From the moment I met Him, He threated my family like he knew us from birth. I always called him Uncle Steve, because he was. I've learned over the years family is more than blood, it's respect and trust.
My memory is Uncle Steve was his stories. It was really not a specific story, because he had my full attention: war, cars, jokes and don't forget food. No matter where you told him you were going, he could tell you the best place to eat.

I loved how you always took the time to have conversations with me, even when I was little. I have missed our conversations. Okay, I admit, I've missed the tickling too. Lol. RIP Uncle Steve. 

We were introduced to Tammy and Steve back in 2003 at a birthday party for one of his great niece or nephew (Taylor or Tj Clark). From then on they became OUR "Aunt Tammy" and "Uncle Steve" too. Even though we were not blood related they both treated my family and I like we were. I remember the first time I hugged him....My Lord....I told him that he smelled so good and that he gave the best hugs. He sure must've liked that cause every time I'd see him he would say, "Chrissy, come smell me!" LOL! I don't think Uncle Steve walked away from anyone without becoming their friend. Making friends everywhere and I mean literally everywhere, (The men's restroom at Lowe's). LOL! I miss his stories and his advice and of course his smell good hugs. Thank you Lord for letting our paths cross. You will always and forever be "Our Uncle Steve". We love you Aunt Tammy. 

I worked with Steve at FL Power Corp. all the way to the Duke Energy buy out a total of about 32 out of 39 years. He helped me learn the trade from 1975 on. You could always depend on Steve to do the right thing and he was a good worker and all around good person.  Steve was a good friend I will miss him.

Even though we aren't related I called him Uncle Steve. He gave the best hugs and always smelled so good. I can still hear him tell Chrissy Bell to smell him. I will always hold a special place in my heart for him. No matter what mood you were in he could bring a smile to your face. His smile was contagious.  Rick and I had the privilege of being neighbors with Steve & Tammy for the last 24 years.  We have a wonderful group of neighbors that really look out for each other . It’s very rare to have neighbors that become like family. Steve would go on road trips with Rick and watch Rick race his car. I believe Steve became known as the Grill Master of the Bubba burgers. Around home Steve would always make us White Russians. We have so many great memories of Steve! Steve loved life and loved to make people laugh. He would always try to tell me a dirty joke, but he would say “Tammy told me not to tell you this” and proceed to tell me. He loved to see my reaction. We love you and will miss you Steve!!

We have so many memories of Steve I could write for days.  One of my faves is when him and Eddie were plotting for Eddie to buy a boat behind mine and Tammy’s backs.  Boy did they get in trouble.  Steve was going to haul the boat home with his truck and teach Eddie how to use and care for it. Crazy guys!  My other favorite thing about Steve was his Key West stories and thanks to him and Tammy we finally took our first trip there and now it is our favorite place to vacation. It lived up to all Steve said it would and more.  Our last trip was this past August thanks for the memories we will cherish forever.  This Key West sunset is for you Steve and Tammy.

Steve was a wonderful generous Kind person, I was lucky to have known him for the last 10+ years and he was always happy and ready to go....  His love for cars was always a subject that came into conversation along with  some great funny jokes. Steve will be greatly  missed  by many of his friends. I personally will miss him and am so grateful for his many years of service  to his country. Steve always was so thoughtful of others and genuinely cared.  He was such a good Man,  I will miss you .

Steve was the greatest. I remember eating clams at the lake . Riding the boat and he let Josh drive when he was only one year old. I also remember riding in his old car in Kissimmee at a car show.  There are so much more I remember, too much for on here . He will  be very missed. ❤️ you Steve forever.

And the year you had the boat,  you showed us the lake and the canals.  He loved Florida and was very proud of his state and his family.

Steve is survived by his wife, Tammy (nee Watson) Todd; his sons, Ronny Todd (M Todd) and Jeremy Todd; his grandchildren, Demi Todd, Mason Todd, Allie Todd, Aubrey Todd and his sister, Carolyn Smith. He also leaves many beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
