Suzanne Fernandes, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on December 10, 2025, surrounded by love. She was a beautiful person, both inside and out, whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her.
Suzanne was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts and was a devoted wife to her late husband, Anibal Fernandes. Her cooking brought family together and her meals will always be remembered as an expression of her deep devotion to those she loved.
Above all else, she cherished her husband, her children and her grandchildren. Her love for her family was unconditional, constant and evident in everything she did. She gave selflessly, listened with compassion and offered comfort by simply being present.
She leaves behind her children, son, James Fernandes, daughters, Judy Logan and Jayne Ashton along with her grandchildren, Megan Ashton, Mackenzie Logan, Abbie Ashton, Ava Logan, Nathanial Fernandes, Nicholas Fernandes and great-grandson, Manny Ashton-Hare, son-in-laws, Paul Logan, Paul Ashton and her son's partner, Lisa Platt-Bailey along with all who were blessed to know her.
