

Todd was born in Long Beach, California on April 24, 1950. He was raised in Orange County, California, where his daughter Stephanie was born. Todd moved to Central Florida in 1970 to help construct Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. His company created the Lake Buena Vista Treehouse Village, among many other successful commercial projects. In 1985, Todd formed Theisen Brothers Gunite, a well-known commercial swimming pool construction firm that survives his passing. Over the years Todd’s company constructed hundreds of commercial swimming pools and provided concrete services for thousands more.
Todd is remembered as a successful business man, but is most remembered for his kindness and compassion for others. Todd provided opportunities and support to many people over the years, in both his business life and his personal life. Todd had a lifelong passion for horse racing and auto racing and recently visited Bonneville Salt Flats, one of his favorite places, along with Santa Anita Racetrack in California.
Todd’s Rolex 24-Hour Racing Event at Dayton Speedway has become an annual event for many people over the years. This year’s 2018 Rolex-24 at Daytona event will be presented in Todd’s honor.
Todd is survived by his daughter Stephanie Theisen - Windermere, FL, Fiancé Gale Linson – Tavares, FL. his brother Dan Theisen and Sara beth - Windermere, FL, sisters Katherine Barber - Windermere, FL, Lynn Eklund and Brian - Fairfield, FL and Mary Ellen Mosti and Mikael - Sarasota, FL.
A service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday January 12th, 2018, at Saint James Catholic Cathedral, 215 N Orange Ave, Orlando, Florida, with a reception to follow at Dubsdread Golf Club, 549 W Par St, Orlando, Florida.
