Violet B. Hill

Violet B. Hill, age 76, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013, in Winter Park, Florida. She was born on August 30, 1936, to Charles and Marie Leach, in Mifflintown, PA. She has three surviving sibling; Arden Leach, Earl Leach, and Alice Brooks. Her brother Wilbur Leach is deceased. She married Max Hill in 1958, and they were married for 27 years, before his passing in 1985. As a military family, they lived in numerous states, before moving to the Orlando area in 1972. Together, they had two children; Kenneth Hill and Karen Noger; one grandson, Lucas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Violet was a homemaker, who loved to cook, and spending time with her family. She worked in billing and coding at several local hospitals, including Orlando Regional Medical Center. She will be missed by her family and numerous friends.

The family will receive guest on Friday, February 1, 2013, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL. 34734: 407-293--1361). Funereal service will be Saturday, February 2, 2013, at 12:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, with internment following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to Vitas Hospice, 2075 Loch Lomond Drive, Winter Park.
