Wanda Juanita Stinnett

Juanita Stinnett, age 89, went to be with the Lord on 1-31-13. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Jewell Roberts, husband Hardy Stinnett, son Nick Lindsey of N.C., her brother Joe Roberts, granddaughter Melody, and G.grandaughter, Cortni. She moved down to Fl. from N.C. in 1998 to be near her daughter Penny Wesley, her husband Jim, and 3 grandchildren Rick, Karen and Rhonda. She had 10 G. grandchildren and 6 G. great grandchildren, brother Eugene Roberts (Helen), nieces and nephews, and a grandson Shane, who lives in N.C.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Oviedo and Ruth circle, until 3 years ago when her health began to decline. Then she enjoyed her home at Emeritus of Oviedo. She spent many months in and out of Life Care re-hab. Her last days were spent in the caring hands of Vitas at Emeritus. She was the happiest in the comfort of her chair (or kitchen when possible) creating something for her friends or family.

When one visited her they knew they would be leaving with something she had made. She was loved by all who met her, she was such a sweet little lady filled with love, joy and her love of the Lord. She will especially be missed by her daughter Penny and grandchildren who are at peace, because she is at peace.

A Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 1:30pm, at the First United Methodist Church of Oviedo (263 King Street, Oviedo, Florida 32765). In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to FUMCO or Vitas Innovative Hospice Care.
