Wilbert Carter

CARTER, WILBERT, age 76, passed away March 3, 2011. This devoted husband and father retired from US Navy and Orange County Dept of Corrections. He worshiped at Ivey Lane Church of Christ and Faith Christian Ctr. He was preceded in death by parents, Wilbur and Vera Carter, brothers, Horace, Edward and Roger Carter. He is survived by wife: Thelma O’Neal Carter; children: Wade (Yvette), Wayne, and Wanda; grandchildren: LaKisha, Britney, Joe, John, Jordan, Sydney, and Taylor; siblings: Ocil, Richard (Debra), Doris, Dorothy (Lavelle), James, and Frankie; in-laws: Burneda (Milton, Sr.), Arthur, Sr. (Elouise), Ola Mae, Henrietta, and Andrea.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Faith Christian Center, 1336 N Pine Hills Rd, Orlando, FL 32808, Rev. David Blouin officiating. The visitation is scheduled from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, March 11, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha. A second visitation is scheduled for 10:30 am, Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Faith Christian Center.
