Yvonne Abrams

Yvonne Theresa Abrams, 75 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday October 14, 2023. She was born in Guyana, South America on December 27, 1947, to the late Eustace Limerick and Dorothy Abrams. She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip, and twin brother, Ian.

Yvonne migrated to the United States in 1973 and stayed several years in New York before settling in Orlando, Florida. She worked at Mercy Hospital for several years, then transferred to AdventHealth for 24 years, before retiring.

Yvonne is survived by her son Obrien and daughter Sharon; sisters, Helena Simpson (Michael), Jennifer Limerick, Patricia Pereira, and Glennis McKenzie; and brothers, Franklyn Limerick, Frankie Limerick, and John Limerick. She is also survived by her nieces, Michelle Simpson and Charmane Simpson-Butler (Carrington), and nephews, Michael Simpson Jr. and Steve Simpson, along with several other nieces and nephews. Yvonne also has eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Yvonne was a hard worker who took pride in her work. She enjoyed relaxing at home, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Yvonne will truly be missed and can now rest peacefully.

The Abrams Family invites you to Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida on Saturday, October 28, 2023 for visitation at 10:30, Yvonne's Celebration of Life at 11:00, followed by committal blessings at 12:00pm.
