Alice Louise Ward

Alice Louise Ward, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Alice was born on January 6, 1942 in Detroit to parents Frank and Marie (Murphy) Mosher. She retired from Chrysler Corporation after 20 years. She was a faithful member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, where she also spent much of her time volunteering. Alice enjoyed sewing, traveling, gardening, and was a member of the Touch of the Earth Garden Club in Grand Blanc, and FISH. Alice is survived by her three children: Chris (Shari) Ward, Matthew (Beth) Ward, and Laura Ward; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters: Kathleen Mosher, Jeanne Mosher, and Marguerite Mosher; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 10am to 8pm with a Rosary prayed at 7pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11am at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Rd., Grand Blanc. For those who wish to join the procession past Alice’s house to the church before the service, please meet at the funeral home on Monday by 9:30am. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mark’s Catholic Church or the ALS Association.
