

Ashley attended Kearsley High School where she participated in sports, excelling at softball. She graduated in 2002 and attended Baker College. She went on to work in the food service and construction industries for a number of years.
Ashley had an infectious smile, and an adventurous spirit and was a loving mother of three boys. She enjoyed being “up north” with family and friends. An ideal day could include “hanging at the beach”, swimming or fishing. She also enjoyed the limelight and was never afraid to be center stage singing karaoke and dancing. Ashley was a loving mother, beloved sister, and daughter and will be sorely missed.
Preceded in death by her fiancé Derrek Bodman, grandparents Robert and Gerturde LaFave, Robert and Margaret Keener, Rose Arnes, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
*Survived by her three sons; Ethan, Noah, and Eli; mother Annie (Tom Arnes) and father John LaFave (Sherry LaFave), sisters; Laura (Greg), Lisa (Dan), Lilly, and Amanda (Jery); brothers; Johnny (Ashley) and Matt, nieces; Elah and Aubree and nephews; Talyn and Trystin.
A visitation for Ashley will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. A rosary service will occur Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM at St Mark Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Service will be officiated by Deacon Ron Kenney.
