BOYD, BARBARA ANN age 79, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison, MI. Fr. Carl Simon officiating. Interment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. . Barbara was born April 15, 1938 to parents Fred and Laura (Henzarick) Ahearn. She retired from the St Joseph Hospital in Flint. Barbara was very active at the McFarland Home where she lived and the Burton Senior Citizens. Surviving are children Laura (Richard) Banks, Joanne Benavidez, Gina Benavidez, Kim (Duane) Greer; grandchildren Melissa, Matthew, Natasha, Jose, Tania, Shameka; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Fredrick Jr. (Eileen) Ahearn and Bill (Anita) Ahearn; sister Donna Colwell; close friend Frank Voaks; several nieces and nephews, and cousin Elaine.
