

WEBSTER, Barbara Ruth (Bignall), age 85, formerly of Flint and Silver Springs, FL, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at her daughters home in Wolverine, MI. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, with Pastor Mike Kitsko officiating. Interment to follow at Grace Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Michigan. Barbara was born on August 29, 1927 in Grand Rapids, daughter of the late Raymond and Vera (Gibbs) Bignall. She had retired from AC Spark Plug in 1981 following 31 years of service. Following retirement, Barbara moved to Albright Shores, Michigan and then moved on to Silver Springs, Florida. While in Silver Springs, she was an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels, several local hospitals, and the local library. Barbara was a former member of Flint Baptist Temple and also attended the Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Silver Springs where she was very active. She is survived by her children Kathryn (Roscoe) Reed of Wolverine, Nancy MacDonald of Palm Coast, FL, Michael Rodgers of Silver Springs, FL, William Rodgers of Silver Springs, Kelly (Cherryl) Rodgers of Waynesboro, GA, Sarah Harris of Burton, and Mary (Bud) Gibson of Grand Blanc; Step children Rick (Gayle) Webster of Buron, Nelda LaMaye of Davison, and Brian Webster of Florida. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, brothers Chuck (Donna) Bignall of Tawas and Herbert Bignall of Flint, sister Vera Selfridge of Richland,WA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Webster, son Dennis Rodgers, step son Keith Webster, and brothers Robert and George Bignall.
