Dillard, Bertha Marie, formerly of 1015 Gainey Ave., Flint, Michigan, passed away August 20, 2018 at the age of 100. Bertha raised four boys, James (deceased), Jacky (Elaine), Donald (Alberta), and Robert (Beverly). She also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bertha loved and lived for her boys and later on her grandchildren. She also loved her home and her church. No one ever enjoyed receiving and opening gifts as much as Bertha especially at Christmas. She worked at a variety of jobs. She always looked forward to visitors because she loved to talk. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Northend Soup Kitchen and the Michigan Democratic Party. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 9:30am – 11:00am with funeral service at 11:00am at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Burial to take place at Flint Memorial Park.
