Catherine Rogers

ROGERS, CATHERINE age 81, died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Kith Haven Convalescent Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Patrick England officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Catherine was born January19, 1934 in Hollandale, MS to parents James and Ellen (Broomfield) Rials. Catherine loved to sew and the art of fishing. Much like her mother Ellen she was always a hard worker, full of life and appreciative of all and many friends received. She loved serving the Lord in song and religious outreach. Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by husband Murphy Rogers Jr. of 58 years; oldest daughter Brenda Rogers, adopted son Craig (Mary) Chapman, youngest daughter Ellen Rogers; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and sisters Mabee and Tina; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents James and Ellen (Broomfield) Rials; in-laws Murphy and Edna Rogers Sr. The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice and Jennifer Carney.
