HODGES, Cyril L. – age 72 of Grand Blanc, MI passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 1PM-8PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. A Rosary Service will take place at 7PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church – 1227 E. Bristol Rd. Burton, MI with one hour of visitation prior. Father Steve Anderson celebrant. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Cyril was born April 14, 1944 in Flint MI to Leo and Leone (Krebsbach) Hodges. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Cyril retired from General Motors in 2000. He enjoyed softball, bowling, and NASCAR. He also loved his 2 Corvettes and his bright green 2011 Camaro. He was an amazing cook and made the best roast beef. The family will miss him greatly and especially his wry sense of humor. Surviving are his children, Jason Hodges and Joshua Hodges; brother, Christopher P. Hodges, sister, Mary Shreve; brother, Mark Hodges; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great-nieces, and 1 great-nephew.
