DENSTEDT, Ellen V. , age 82, of Holly, died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Wynwood Assisted Living in Grand Blanc. Ellen was born on July 25, 1929 in Birmingham, Michigan, the daughter of Ralph and Frances (West) Stonewall. She is survived by her son Douglass, and his wife Connie, Denstedt of Holly, granddaughter Jessica (James) Hardy, and four nephews, Wayne Lavigne, Roger Lavigne, Darold Lavigne, and Danny Lavigne. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Lavigne. She had retired from General Motors Orion Plant in 1988 following 30 years of service. Ellen enjoyed gardening and bird watching. In honor of her wishes, services will not be held at this time. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
