1969–2025
On Saturday, December 6th, at 6:31 PM, we said goodbye to our beloved son, brother, and friend, Gary Michael Davis, sending him home to be with the Lord. Born on November 13, 1969, in Flint, Michigan, Gary passed away peacefully at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan, surrounded by his entire family—the only way he would have wanted it.
Gary lived his life with a brightness and sincerity that left a mark on everyone who knew him. He was a comedian, a ladies’ man, a devoted music lover, and truly the glue of our family. He saw the world through his own unique lens—one full of unmatched love, joy, and compassion. His life, lived by his own rules and rhythms, was one that many would envy. To those closest to him, these memories are cherished beyond measure.
If you ever met Gary, you remember his enthusiastic greetings—the kind that made you feel like the most important person in the room. He loved people wholeheartedly and without hesitation. Losing him is immeasurable, but the peace and love he radiated up to his final moments will remain with us forever. He is now eternally able to rest with his “Spirit in the Sky.”
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Gary Eugene Davis of Milford, MI.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Sue Davis (78) of Fenton, MI; his siblings: (Sister) Lori Lynette (58) and Michael Anaple of Livonia, MI. (Brother) Matthew Alan (52) and Tammy Davis of Jeffersonville, KY; Melanie Louise (51) and Terry Taylor of Fenton, MI; and Bradley John (43) and Rebecka Davis of Haslett, MI. He also leaves behind five nieces, five nephews, and a large extended family; all of whom he adored.
Private remembrance for immediate family will take place the week of Dec. 8, 2025, with a public celebration of life to be announced at a later date for friends and extended family.
We miss you, big guy. We can’t wait for the day you greet us again.
