This is to Mary & family,and to Jerry's sisters. 
Today, Aug. 27th in thinking of Jerry I decided to look him up on the computer and so sorry to learn of his passing. Oh,how I wish I had reconnected with him! He was a wonderful friend many years ago! I just want to share.....We met in 9th grade at St.Andrews. I moved out of state then. Then in '57 Jerry recognized me as we sorted PO letters at Christmas time. We stayed in touch all through college & as we started our teaching yrs. Jerry was in my 62' wedding. He was a very popular guy so probably was in a dozen weddings! By 1966 I & family had moved out of Saginaw(now I live in Saugerties.NY)
I remember many of Jerry's sisters. Murial,I believe was younger...and one lived in Lansing when I attended MSU. In fact, traveling thru Milwaukee on our honeymoon we stopped in for a brief visit!(fall'62). Please know you are all in my heart at this sad time.

My mother, Wanda Huffman, and Jerry were co-workers and great friends.  His letters brightened Mom's last days.  Mom often spoke of Jerry's love for his family, and his wonderful faith.  He and Mom must be having a laugh-filled reunion!  God's blessings to his beloved Mary and the entire family.

I was up north back in April and knocked on your door but you were not there. It won't be the same up there without you.  Thank you Jerry for being a great up north neighbor!

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Some of the best memories of my life were the ones spent with you and Uncle Jerry.  I always looked forward to going to the cottage each summer just to spend time with you. Saddened to hear of Uncle Jerry's passing. I wish I could attend. Condolences to all of the Lawlers :-(

I feel lucky to have known him, and was so happy that he was the Papa of Melissa's children. He was warm, welcoming, kind and sweet. I am glad for the many fond memories of Christmases, Easters, Birthdays and Up North. Love to the Lawlers and may he never be forgotten.

So many of my greatest childhood memories happened at the Linger Loft, on the jeep, at Whale's Belly, playing jokes at the beach, picking blueberries and waking up in the loft to the smell of fresh blueberry pancakes......so many memories, all of them good.  Always, Uncle Jerry was working hard, full of laughter, and showing kindness. He set a very high bar of how to be a good person, and will not be forgotten.  Much love to you all.

Anyone who knew Jerry knew how much he loved his family.  He was a hard worker who helped family, friends and others. Loss of a good guy with a great sense of humor who is missed.   Dennis Lawler.

Dearest Aunt Mary and Family, Just learned of the passing of a MOST remarkable Man. He was the only one who could call me "goofy gail" and get away with it. In my lifetime i have had two brother in laws Jerry Lawler and Cliff Thomas, God granted me these two as the best things that ever happened in my life. I could'nt have had two better friends. I will miss them forever until we meet again.
