Joe William Warner, 85 went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 23, 2022. Joe was born in Hickory Kentucky June 23, 1937. He worked for Hamady Brothers as a meat cutter for over 30 years. That is where he met his great love—Lorraine, and married her on July 4th 1955 and raised 3 children.
After retiring from Hamady Brothers, Joe worked at Advanced Refinishing for his oldest son Mike for about 5 years. While there, he had the memorable experience of working with and directing three of his grandsons for a couple of summers.
Joe enjoyed the great outdoors hunting, fishing and camping as well as spending time with his family. He was a faithful servant of the Lord as an ordained Elder at the House of Prayer in Grand Blanc for 23 years. His legacy of faith was demonstrated further as he became caregiver to Lorraine after she suffered a severe stroke in July of 2000. He lovingly cared for her for the next 17 years until her passing in 2017.
Joe is survived by his 3 children: Michael (Robin) Warner, Cathy (Tom) Blondin, and Mark (Karen) Warner, as well as 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 19th 2022 at Beulah Land Christian Center, 3345 S. Genesee Road, Burton MI from 3:00pm to 6:30pm.
