Although John never attended college, he didn’t let that hold him back. He carved out a successful career in the financial industry as a Field Compliance Officer for the last 29 years. He was always an avid reader of history, politics, and other non-fiction. He would always be reading two, three, or even four book at any given time.
John became the Vice President of the Grand Blanc Huntsman’s Club where he spent every free moment he had shooting sporting clays and spending time outdoors with his friends and daughter, Lauren. He was reintroduced to duck, goose, and deer hunting by his dear friend of 53 years, Mike.
He had unconditional love for his family, his faith, and his two beloved beagles, Hank and Henrietta. Throughout his life he stayed true to one of his mottos that continued pushing him to new heights and boundaries, “nothing in moderation.” One of his absolute favorite things was showing his love through the delicious meals he served up for his family every single Sunday and Holiday.
John is survived by his wife Debbie, his children Lauren, John-Paul, Erin (Scott), and grandchildren Kieran and Emma. His mother - Sally Demers, siblings - Sue (Bill) Harvey, Paula (Kevin) Crowley, Jane McNamara, Tom (Terry) Demers, Pat (Donna) Demers, Cheryl Fossano and many nieces and nephews.
