LUCAS, JOHN Jr. age 82, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Bob Roberts officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. John was born July 21, 1932 in Flint, MI to parents John Sr. and Ann (Yorko) Lucas. He retired from Buick Motors in 2000 after 50 years of service. John was active in the Forgotten Man Ministry and a member of the New Life Fellowship Church and involved in their Bus and G.A.P. Ministry. Surviving are wife of 59+ years, Patricia; children Michelle Lucas, Denise (Bob) Perkins, Rick (Michelle) Lucas, David Lucas; grandchildren Amber (Andy) Chesterman, Aaron Lucas, Adam Lucas, Ashlei Lucas; great-grandchildren Adyn and Mary; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Contributions may be made to the New Life Fellowship Church in John’s name.
