In 1954 Joyce married the love of her life Edward. They were married for 63 years. Joyce was a member of the South Flint Church of the Nazarene. Joyce worked as a secretary at the church for 25 years. She was also a part of many groups within the church such as the women's ministries, choir, mission group and was a senior adult minister.
Joyce is survived by her children David (Lorri) Stone, Deanne Stone-Hempton; grandchildren Krystal Stone, Joshua Stone, Nicholas Stone, and Jacob Stone.
Preceded by her husband Edward Stone, son-in-law Richard Hempton, grandsons Mitchel and Zachary Stone, and her parents Clarence and Alice Sisco.
