Kenneth Gerald Bees (K8CWL) died October 27, 2011. Born January 31, 1944 to Ernest (Bud) and Marion “Bean” Bees. Brother of Beverley Bees White (George) and Retta Bees Green (Willie). Survived by wife Nancy Groves Bees of Holly and children Theresa Bees Horstman (Larry), Ernest R Bees, Richard T Bees (Nanette), Shauna Knight (Mike), Loryssa Asher (Wayne) and John Sexton (Katherine). Papa to Kate Braden, Kelsey Bees, Elizabeth and Hannah Bees, Brittney Deaton, Hillary Holtz, KC Horstman, Donald and Cara Bolton, Kevin Knight, Travis, Shelby and Mehgan Asher, William and Beatrice Sexton, and Joe Gagliardo and Great Papa to Emily Gillett, Alexis Bolton and Evelyn Holtz. Ken was an avid online chess player, Ham Radio operator, loved fishing, hunting, camping and the outdoors.
