Lois J. Stead

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until time of service at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road Grand Blanc, MI. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Michigan. In memory of Lois, please wear red or white to the services.

Lois was born in Flint, Michigan to parents Arthur & Marion LaClair on March 5, 1931. She resided on Churchill Avenue in Flint, MI for 54 years. She married in 1951 to Ronald Stead of Flint, MI. She retired from Buick Local 599 after 20 years of service. In 2004, she moved to Channelview, Texas to live near her daughter Susan and family. A few for her favorite memories include $.25 cents for a bus, movie & popcorn and laughing with family & friends. Lois was a wonderful woman, known for her love for many close relatives & friends and her animals, Missee, Stormee & Shadow her companions. Lois will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Jose) of Channelview, TX; son, Scott (Michelle) of Howell, Michigan; grandchildren: Nicolas, Colton, Joshua & Amanda and her love of nieces & nephews. Her heart will be in heaven with her mom, Marion Davis; and sisters: Cherie Gray and Helen Venable.

In lieu of flowers, any memorials you wish to have displayed at her final resting place is greatly appreciated. Donations can also be made to Living Canine Ranch in Bertram, TX.
