Lyle Donald Thomason

THOMASON, Lyle ‘L.D.’ of Flint, age 70, a loving husband, father and friend, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011 surrounded by his family. Funeral Service will be held Friday 11 AM at Shawn Baptist Church, 2493 N. Genesee Rd, Burton, Michigan. Pastor Raymond Cocke officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday 2-8 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. and Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Church. Those desiring may make contributions to American Lung Association. Lyle was born in Flint, the son of Lyle S. and Ada Thomason. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and member of the Shawn Baptist Church. Mr. Thomason is survived by beloved Wife, Doris ‘Deedee’; Children, Joe (Christine), Lyle (Kathy Sanders), John, Arlene (Daniel) Castaneda, Nan (Mike Hajec) Boisclair and Teressa (Rick Franklin); 14 Grandchildren, One great granddaughter and Siblings, Joe (Ruth Ann) and Ed (Sandy) Thomason and Arlene (Elbert) Haley. He was preceded in death by siblings, John and Walter Thomason and Suzie Bryant.
