Marcia Kay Rockafellow

ROCKAFELLOW, MARCIA KAY age 77 died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral Service will be 11:00 Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Goodrich United Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Rd, Goodrich, MI. Pastor Jeremy Africa officiating. Interment at Hadley Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Marcia was born April 11, 1937 in Oxford, MI to parents Harold and Adreath (Stewart) Gark. She was a active member of the Goodrich United Methodist Church. Marcia graduated High School from Berrien Springs High, she went on to school for LPN Nursing. In later years she became involved in politics. She was a member of the Goodrich Village Council and went on to be president of the Village Council and served on the Planning Commission. Marcia loved playing Bridge, she was a member and president of Goodrich Women's Club. Marcia was a member of Genesee County 911 consortium. Surviving are sister, Sara Bachmann, children Keith Rockafellow, Lisa (Michael) Schwartz, Clarke Rockafellow, Laura (Micheal) Beadlescomb; grandchildren Kate, Matthew, David, Theresa. Rae, Mickey, Levi; great-grandchildren Kane, Harlo, Kyrie; several loved nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by husband Robert; son Ray and her parents.
