Nancy Elizabeth Rynearson died peacefully in her home on July 7, 2021. Nancy was born in Newton, Massachusetts, to Frank and Grace Lane on 4/2/1925. She grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts with Sarah and Frankie, who have preceded her in death. Nancy graduated from Bouve’-Boston School of Physical Education in 1947 with a major in Physical Education and minor in Dance. She came to Detroit, Michigan after graduation, to become the Assistant Health Education Director of the Central branch of the YWCA. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life, John (Jack) H. Rynearson and married on 6/18/1949. Nancy and Jack moved to Grand Blanc, Michigan in 1958 where he practiced Dentistry until his death in 1986; and she was a volunteer in the following capacities: Genesee County Dental Auxiliary, St. Joseph Auxiliary Ball; President of Holy Family Alter Society: Treasurer of her local chapter of Care Club; Chairman of Women's Association of Warwick Hills Country Club; wrote a column for the Grand Blanc News: "Nancy and The People She Meets”; Clothing Consultant for Carlisle Clothes for many years. Nancy and Jack had 10 children: John (Monica), Jim (Kathie), Jane (Charlie), Sarah, Janet (Rocky), Judi (Les), Jean, Jeff, Joni (Jeff) and Joe. John, Jim and Sarah preceded her in death. Nancy was the wonderful matriarch of 25 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren (and counting).
