Patricia Ann Harmon

HARMON, PATRICIA ANN age 83, of Flint, MI died Friday, October 5, 2012. Memorial Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. 48439. Pastors Brenda Etheridge, Unity Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Jeff Jaggers, Flushing United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. until the Service. Pat was born June 13, 1929, the ninth of ten children to William and Fern (Edwards) Park. Surviving are brother Jack (Ardelle) Park, and husband of 62 years Richard B. Harmon ; children Catherine S. (Jeff Goyette) Thibault, William L. (Donna) Harmon, Ann E. (Gregg) Taft, Jeanne M. (Thomas) Wisenbaugh; grandchildren Jennifer (Eric) Stommer, Christopher Thibault, Cori (Steve) Dilley, Kandi (Aaron) Wong, Misty (Robert) Comeau, Vance (Marcy) Palmer, Sarah (Robert) Herron, Kelly (Chase) Wybenga, Richard Taft, and Patricia, Arlie, William and Bonnie Wisenbaugh; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her adoring Greyhound Sadie. Mom was blessed through the years with many opportunities to hold and rock a baby and often sang to them, which seemed to please even though it was usually off key. She especially enjoyed the family camping trips to Interlochen and for many years to St. Ignace for the annual Labor Day Bridge Walk. If there happened to be a Casino nearby, there was always time to exercise her right arm at no great cost as dictated by the long odds of winning at the slots, and a natural inclination to limit such spending perhaps acquired through her early association with the Scots women who belonged to the Daughter’s of St. George Lodge where she was a member of the Drill Team. She also enjoyed working on rummage sales and helping with kitchen duties during and after dinners at church. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, for many years to come.
