Phyllis Joyce Sutherland – Age 71, of Burton, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Genesys Hospice. Mrs. Sutherland was born November 20, 1942 in Verona, Missouri the daughter of Otis and Flossie Nelson. She loved inter-net chat rooms and belonged to Mag 7 and Media West fan clubs. Phyllis enjoyed all westerns, creating ceramics at FIA and her cats. Surviving are her son, Arron (Kristin) Sutherland, daughter, Sharon (Jared) Ryan; grandchildren, Daby, Carson, Parker, Karlee, Hannah; sister, Barbara (Stanley) Martin; brother, Keath Nelson; nephew, Tony; niece, Eva; many great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sutherland was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Sutherland. Thank you to special friends, Bill Henson and family and Terri “Tex” Zavaleta. As were her wishes cremation has taken place.
