Sending my condolences, Mark was such a kind man and good Pastor at Trinity Lutheran , Utica Michigan .

As a member of Trinity, Dillsboro's family, I remember Pastor Hill, fondly. His last service at Trinity was on August 14, 1988, when my youngest son, Jeremy was baptized. Jeremy is now 36 years old. My deepest condolences to Cora, Sarah, Mary and their families. It sounds like he was a wonderful grandfather and I know he will be dearly missed. God's peace be with you all. ❤️

To Mark's loving family,  I am so grateful for the time I shared with him at lSS NWO. He was an excellent leader, co worker, and friend. My prayers go out to you in your loss.

So sad to hear of your loss. I was blessed with the privilege to work for Pastor Mark when he was interim pastor at St Mark. The three years went way to fast, and we would have loved to have him stay. I missed our many talks, especially the morning recaps of the previous day's sporting events. A good and faithful servant.

Family and friends of Pastor Hill you have my deepest condolences. My father Basil Moore invited me to church at Prince of Peace when Pastor Hill was installed. Unfortunately one of the first things Pastor Hill was tasked with was helping me lay my father to rest. Pastor Hill helped me so much through that tough time I could never thank him enough. He helped me through every step and lended me his ear to chew on and gave me inspiration and courage to face each day. I will be forever grateful to him for that. He was a great man and a great Pastor. I am a better man to have known him. "Well done my good and faithful servant"

Dear Cora, Sarah, & Mary, may GOD comfort you you in your time of moss . Mark was such a  fun friend.  Susan was so glad he officiated at her wedding here in southern Indiana when you guys lived way up north. Was a special gift to have the privilege of knowing him and you girls. Prayers🙏🏻🌺🙏🏻🌺🥰

So sorry for your loss.   I relished the time working with him at St. Mark in Saginaw as Worship Director under his stewardship—- many long, meaningful talks on worship and faith issues.  You can rest assured he made a difference for the Kingdom

Hi. I'm from Trinity-Utica, Mi. I remember Pastor Hill as being very soft spoken. I was listening to the 8:00 service this morning online, when at the end of the closing prayer, Pastor Mark Hill's name was mentioned. An internet search led me to his obituary.  I had also asked him to officiate at my mother's funeral service in 2003 at the funeral home. Grace and comfort to the family.

I was so very sorry to hear that Pastor Hill had passed away.  I am so glad that I got to know him as my Pastor.  I had just begun to put him, and your family, in my prayers but I really did not know why I felt that need.  I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. Pastor Hill came as an interim pastor.  Then Covid hit and Pastor Hill had to get creative.  We had worship services in our parking lot, with Pastor leading services by standing on construction scaffolding with white plastic for paraments, and broadcasting on a parking lot FM transmitter.  (Not what you learned in seminary!  Some days were cold and windy.)  At Easter, when the pastor says "He is Risen", the congregation responds "He is Risen Indeed!"  That doesn't work as well when all are in cars, so we honked our horns.  We had Bible Studies on Zoom.  Pastor Hill got to know each of us.  We will miss him.

To Cora and all of Pastor Mark's family,
I had the honor of spending time with Pastor Mark as we worked on a couple of his DIY projects, at his house, when he was in Toledo, Ohio. 
Spending time with him at his house, lunches, and church, I learned a calm perspective from him that continues to make my life better. 
My love and peace to you as you live with the gifts that Pastor Mark left with you and the rest of us.

Tammy and I would like to express or sincerest sympathies to you all.  I will always cherish the time I spent with Pastor Hill and the lessons I learned while he was Interim Pastor at St Marks in Saginaw.   In all the struggles we went through Pastor Hill was truly a blessing to St Marks as a congregation and to all of us that got to know the true Christian man he was.   We pray that the love of Jesus Christ carries you all through this time of grief and sorrow and gives you peace.

What a shock with much sadness it is to hear about the passing of Pastor Hill.  He was truly a wonderful and caring person .  We totally enjoyed and loved him being our interim pastor at our church while we had him.  He will be missed by many.

I was so touched when Mark and Cora came to visit me at my store. I remember you when you were little and the family all got together, but not much as an adult. Your warmth and kindness were so apparent when you came to the store, and it meant so very much to me.  I am greatly saddened to know you are no longer with us in person, but will feel your presence always.

Always talked about Mark, my cousin. He led the way with religion in our family. A mentor. He as a good man.
