Roger was born May 17, 1960 in Flint, Michigan to the late Carl Jr. and Mary (Mavis) Easley. Roger devoted 20 years to the United States Army. He was a wonderful friend and would help anyone at any time, no matter what he was doing or had going on. Roger enjoyed working on cars and was an avid collector of watches. He also loved to play pool with his friends anytime he went out and was a history buff. Roger was known as a man with a tremendous sense of humor and was an all-around charming and charismatic guy. While he may have been a manly man, he had an excellent sense of culture and class, because of his many travels overseas. Roger was an amazing son, loving father and caring grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Roger leaves to cherish his memory his loving children Nathan Easley (Cori Hartwigsen), Steve (Stephanne) Easley, Samantha Childs (Brian Childs) and Katy Easley (Jay Bonnette); precious grandchildren Evelyn, Taylor, Ember, Yvonne, Cecilia, Julissa, Harper and Syris; dear siblings Ronald Wayne Easley, Gregory Allen (Mary) Easley, Jeffrey Lang Easley and Lutishia (David) Hertzberg; beloved Aunt Melba and Aunt Margaret and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, grandchild Brooklyn Rose, Uncle John Erickson and Uncle L.D. Alexander.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, December 22, 2021, at 9am at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
