SMITH, Ruth – passed away at home on August 5, 2011 with daughters Sandy and Susie sharing her bed. She also leaves grandchildren: Michael, Kevin (Leah), Kathy, Lee (Kathy), Matt (Emily), Kien, and Joya (Will); great-grandchildren: Nicole, Ryann, Kelsie, Kylie, Kate, Jake, Adam, Jason, Henry, Andrew, Mackenzie and Sadie; great-great-granddaughter Naomi; sons-in-law; Lee, Darrell and Marshall and her “golden” niece Marsha. Ruth was so happy to be going to join her parents, Haywood and Bay, who died much too young, her husband Gene, daughters Sherry and Vicki; son-in-law Vincent, brothers; Mister B, Ronnie and Larry; sisters Mary Fern and Mildred. Per her firm instructions, direct cremation will take place with no formal service. The family will celebrate this beautiful woman with a private gathering at a later date.
