Sondra Kay Creasey

Creasey, Sondra Kay of Grand Blanc. Born in Flint, MI on August 31, 1938. Died peacefully on March 29, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. A private burial service for family will take place followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at Creasey Bicentennial Park in Grand Blanc, on July 21, 2023 from 5:00-9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sondra Creasey to the Grand Blanc Community Fund, which is part of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint at www.cfgf.org. Beloved wife of Charles (Chuck) for 49 years, whom she married on November 17, 1956. Mother of Charles Robert Jr. (Karen) Creasey and John Wilson (Stephanie) Creasey. Grandmother of Charles Robert Creasey III, Elizabeth Finis Creasey and John Watson Creasey. Sister of Harriet (Kenneth) Linkowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Creasey was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents Trueman and Lucille Herrington, her in-laws Fred and Noretta Creasey, many beloved aunts and uncles and friends. Sondra attended Freed Hardeman College and Mott Community College. She was an entrepreneur, owning an Ice Cream Parlor, and several other small businesses with friends. She also worked for many years at AC Delco. She loved Grand Blanc and was a champion for the community. Sondra was also a talented watercolor artist. She enjoyed weekly lunches with a group of friends that she cherished for over 50 years. Sondra was blessed to have amazing neighbors and caregivers. Special thanks to the Rochas, Moras, Nicholsons, Ondrea and Julia. She was a lovely person with the most generous spirit and we are heartbroken in her absence.
